ORIGINAL EARLY AMERICAN PANTRY STORAGE BOX-ORIGINAL BENTWOOD HANDLE
There are a close row of tiny tacks along the seam as well as in the construction of the bentwood lid. You will find ultra thick walls and a strong bottom on this box.
It is 11" across the lid and 6" tall...a nice large size, perfect for the bottom of your stack!
Good condition. Other than small minor expected issues often found, there is an obvious split which has separated with time on the top edge of the lid. I have not photographed this issue, however wish to mention for the sake of accuracy as it may or may not be repairable.
Circa: 1870-1880. New England origin.($165)
